QUESTION VALUE

Question value is based on difficulty and the current block number.

For odd-numbered blocks, question values are 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 points.

For even-numbered blocks, question values are 40, 80, 120, 160 and 200 points.

SPEED BONUS

Speed matters. The speed bonus awarded to correct answers is equal to the question value times the percentage of time left on the answer timer when the game host receives the answer.

For example, if a player answers a 60-point question correctly with 10 seconds left on a 20-second answer timer, his bonus is calculated at 60 x (10/20) or 30 points.

MEDAL BONUS

The medal bonus for any questions is calculated as a percentage of the question value.

Medal Bonus
Platinum 100.0%
Gold 50.0%
Silver 33.3%
Bronze 16.7%
